One connected profile
Shared income, balance-sheet, tax, and retirement assumptions flow into related tools without repeated entry.
Financial planning Available to use
A connected set of personal-finance calculators that lets someone enter their financial assumptions once, then use them across tax, retirement, cash-flow, housing, investing, and debt decisions.
Financial calculators often answer one isolated question and then forget everything the user already entered. Comparing a tax decision with a retirement or housing decision means repeatedly rebuilding the same picture of income, assets, debts, and assumptions.
I built a shared financial workspace instead of a pile of disconnected calculators. A profile supplies common assumptions to each tool, while explicit per-tool overrides let someone explore a scenario without silently changing the underlying profile.
Shared income, balance-sheet, tax, and retirement assumptions flow into related tools without repeated entry.
The workspace covers net worth, paycheck withholding, estimated taxes, Roth conversions, retirement, runway, housing, stock backtesting, and more.
Linked values remain visible, and a user can override or restore an assumption without losing track of where it came from.
Profiles stay in the browser, and selected scenarios can be shared through encoded links rather than a central user database.
The choices that shaped how the project works.
The app is a static frontend with browser-based storage, which keeps the everyday experience fast and avoids requiring an account.
Tax and planning outputs state their assumptions, and year-specific figures are maintained separately so an old constant does not quietly become a new-year answer.
A shared profile and explicit handoffs turn individual calculators into a coherent planning workflow.
